What is Connector?
Connector is a device designed specifically for the E service. Connector allows you to add somebody to E, and all integrated services, in one simple gesture: Press two Connectors together and you’ve exchanged E•ID's. It’s that simple.
A gesture?
E makes sure you can keep track of the people you meet in real life. You can do this by using the service for your phone, but the Connector allows you to do the same in less than a second. After you collect E•ID's, synchronize over USB and you’re done.
Where can i get it?
The Connector is currently being displayed at various conferences and exhibitions worldwide, but hasn’t entered mass production yet. Connector will be released at large events in the near future. If you want to know more about E and the Connector, sign up for a Beta account.
Collect and Sync.
The Connector has a built-in battery and memory. This enables you to wear it, carry it, put it in your bag or pocket so you can use it only when you have to. It gets out of your way but is there when you need it. Connector synchronizes and charges over USB, to any PC or Mac and supported mobile devices.
Touch and Add.
Connector is about choice. You decide whether you want to add somebody to you social circle. To do this, hold two Connectors together and they’ll gently let you know that you’re connected through a slight vibration. In the future, Connector will also be able to connect to various location-based physical services.
Use profiles!
Just like the E mobile service, you can use yor E Connection Profiles with Connector. For example, set your Business Profile timestamp to Monday, and your Connector will send all contacts collected on Monday straight to the social services integrated with your Business Profile.
